How To Get A Brush Out Of Your Hair
by: Damien R. von Dahlem / Hairstyles Magazine
By far the most common item that we hear of stuck in someone's hair is a round
styling brush, or some other type of brush. If the brush you are dealing with is the type that has the little knobs at the bristle ends, you will first need to get rid of these. A nail clipper works well for this job unless it is a metal brush and you will need to get a wire snip from the tool box.
Be very careful a snipped end doesn't fly into someone's eye, including your own.
Now you will need a long sturdy pointy item such as a rat tail comb. A sturdy toothpick or similar item may work as well. Again be careful
not to injure anyone.
Strand by strand, hair by hair, begin to loosen the hair at the outer hair ends, not the scalp end. Slowly and painstakingly work on the hair till the brush comes
free. Do not try and force it. If after an hour the brush is still not free, you will have little alternative but to go to a salon to have the brush cut free. Look at it as an opportunity for a new style and look.
